Job Purpose To develop and implement sales policies and business plans for national accounts to meet agreed sales targets and key business objectives.
Main Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement sales policies and business plans for national accounts to meet agreed sales targets and business objectives. 2. Prepare and implement promotional and marketing plans for key accounts in consultation with other managers to meet business objectives. 3. Develop and maintain key contacts in national accounts to ensure the maintenance of good long-term relationships and to maximize sales of company products. 4. Monitor the progress towards the achievement of short- and long¬term &ales and business objectives and take any necessary action to ensure that these are achieved. 5. Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of sales objectives and developments, particularly in relation to national accounts. 6. Monitor competitor activity in relation to national accounts and ensure that the appropriate responses are developed to any perceived threats to business. 7. Identify potential new accounts and take any required action to win these.
