A large Fast Moving Consumer Goods company based in Lebanon with integrated Production, Distribution, Sales & Marketing Operations across Lebanon, Syria & Jordan is looking to hire an experienced Product Marketing Manager.

Job Purpose
To direct and control the proq.uct marketing department to ensure that products are developed and delivered to meet identified customer needs.

Main responsibilities
1. Direct and control the staff of the product marketing department
to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
2. Commission and carry out research to determine customer requirements for company products.
3. Commission and carry out research into all new product developments by competitors.
4. Identify any new developments required in existing products to maintain their competitiveness in the market.
5. Oversee research into new product developments to ensure that any required changes are made within the agreed timescale and budget.
6. Develop plans for the launch of new products into all relevant markets.
7. Monitor the product development budget to ensure that all targets are met within specified budget limits.
8. Maintain an awareness of new developments in the product development field to ensure that the company maintains its competitive advantage.

. A University Degree in Marketing, Management or Equivalent professional qualification; An MBA would be desired but not mandatory.
. 10 to 15 years of Marketing experience and product and brand development;
. A thorough understanding of the levant consumer markets and consumer behavior in the region;
. Considerable sales and marketing experience, working with Top Tier Advertising Agencies and Research Companies;
. At least 5 years of management experience, in a similar role managing a team of marketing and brand professionals;
. Highly developed interpersonal skills.
