3 - I applied to a Job, but did not get a response from the employer. Why?

While employers are not obliged to respond to your applications, CareerAmazon.com encourages employers to send you a response at least once, since this is good practice. Due to the large number of applicants to particular job, employers tend to respond only to those candidates that interest them. In order for you to remain an active candidate in the employer's recruitment process for a particular position, it is also best practice from your end to only apply to those positions which you really beleive are suited for you based on the your background as mentioned in your CV and the Candidate Requirements as mentioned on the Employer's Job Vacancy which you are applying to. Everytime you send your CV to an Employer, CareerAmazon.com will send you an email receipt to confirm that your application has been sent to the Employer. However this does not automatically mean that the employer has already viewed your application and your CV. CareerAmazon.com cannot estimate when an employer will view an application from a candidate, and hence should not be considered responsible for any delays in response or for any non-response on behalf of the employer.
